Yeah the rain went away

We are still on vacation at dad's in Kansas but the kids are happy since they have been able to go swimming a couple days in a row. The weather has changed for the hotter but it is killing pregnant ole me! I thought I would share some pictures from our vacation so far and once I get home I will download more plus videos in the dropshots website. Corey and Katie have both made it down the slide finally and Katie is snorkling if you can believe it! They sure have adapted to the water quickly. Will post a few more later before we leave but just wanted to let you know we are having a blast.

Vacation????

So we go to Kansas for vacation to see family and what does it do out here?? It rains!!! Craziness! Dad has a pool even and Katie won't swim at all when it is raining. Oh well. It's good to see family again. I'll post some pictures after we get back into town or unless I figure out how to work dad's computer with the cards. TTFN

Marine World

I think we walked way too much yesterday and got plenty of Vitamin E from the sun which was not hiding behind any smoke for once! Jaxon and I didn't get to do much but
that's okay. We were able to look at a bunch of the exhibits and he really liked the
butterfly room and the giraffe's. I think we need to take him back to the zoo sometime soon.
We also took Katie on Tony Hawk's Big Spin roller coaster which was super cool but I don't think Katie really liked it. She started out very brave and began screaming in her let's have fun on the roller coaster scream as we went up and then as we moved to the first drop she screamed a little louder but still looked like she was having fun which quickly changed into a deadly scream of fear as we dropped and spun around through the roller coaster ride. As we finished she was almost hyper ventilating and about had a fit when it moved to let us off as she thought it was going to go again. Jeff and I secretly loved the ride and have great memories now of Katie's expression throughout the ride. Overall it was a great day!

Jaxon and Michael's birthday

We had Jaxon and Michael's birthday party on Saturday. It was a great day for both of them. I have decided buying cakes isn't worth it anymore now that I'm going to be having my fourth baby in November so I'm back to making cakes like back in the just starting out days. Oh well, they still look cool. Jaxon got the small top piece and when we lit all of Michael's candles I thought we might need to have the fire department on call. It's crazy to think he is 17 already!

Smoke in the air

I am so tired of the smoke in the air from the fires surrounding the entire valley. It is sad to look outside and think it is cloudy and cool when it is really smoky and hot! The kids and I have to limit our time outside which is becoming increasingly tiring day after day to find indoor activities. Please let there be a Delta breeze soon to take away the smoke so we can see the blue skies once again!!

Happy 4th to all

Glitterfy.com - Glitter Graphics

Sorry no pics to share on the 4th. We went swimming for awhile, then bar-b-qued some hamburgers and hot dogs. Watched a Jet Li movie and then tried to do some California style fireworks for the kids. Corey and Katie had a good time with the fireworks but mommy got to go inside and watch from the window as Jaxon was trying to climb my pregnant tummy to get away from the crackle noises. All in all it was a pretty relaxing day. I hope everyone else had a safe and fun day as well.

Jaxon

It seems everyday at home with the kids brings new surprises. Jaxon is growing up so fast and falling asleep everywhere it seems. He has also begun to climb on top of the coffee table, mind you he hasn't quite mastered walking yet but climbing is going to be his cup of tea. Corey is bored out of his mind I think and can't wait for school to start again or for us to go to Kansas. He has been a big help around the house though with me being off for summer. Katie is well, she's Katie and as such she keeps me entertained all day. I am finally feeling Anna move around which is exciting but also scary since it just tells me soon I will have four children! At least the numbers will stay even in the house. My sister-in-law just had her second baby and it was great to see such a small baby and I hope that Anna will cooperate and be smaller than her brother Jaxon was.
